Rosie
Geraldine Hoff Doyle died a few months back. ‘Who?’ you ask… Rosie the Riveter. Or rather the real-life version of her. She was 17 working in a Michigan factory when a photographer snapped pics of her. Her image would later become inspiration for the iconic WWII poster created by J. Howard Miller in 1943.
